Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for three years. Lennox was able to live with the stipend she received from her students and work part-time jobs. Lennox decided to change her path in life following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience and lack of talent the same way as the other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Between 1977 and 1980 she was main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop group. The band was where she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut record Diva. The album was released in 1993. The album had a tremendous success both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in November 2014. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favorite soul, jazz and blues songs of her youth. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. is an accompanying piece for her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You go... The album is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954, in Scotland, is a philanthropist as well as a politician. She also sings. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to gain international recognition in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva produced many successful songs like Why, and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. The album features covers of such songs as The No MoreI love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums of her own, plus one compilation album the result of her efforts.
