Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5th 1956 on the outskirts of Woodland Hills California. Her father taught at school, while her mother was a homemaker. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three elder brothers. At a young stage of life, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and she would frequently put on puppet shows for youngsters in the area. Following her win in her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 year old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see whether McCormick was interested in getting into the entertainment industry. McCormick's first job as a professional was during 1964, where she was featured in a TV commercial for Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. She subsequently starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial before being cast in The Wind It up and It's Broken at The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the part of the oldest daughter in the trio of towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show was a collaboration between Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick disclosed the story Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick nearly lost her Virginity with Barry Williams during the five-year duration on the program. He was just 19. She was 16. This timing wouldn't have been ideal for us, she told me.
